Starkids: Autism Treatment Program

Starkids is an autism treatment application designed to help young children improve their social and language skills. The application contains several fun games that simulate social interactions a child may encounter. While the child plays these games, the program uses an EEG sensor to monitor their level of engagement, allowing their parents and specialists to track their progress over time.

Starkids story follows three characters (Kaikai, XingXing, and Guoguo) who travel around their island helping the Chinese zodiac animals with problems they encounter. Before each game, children have a conversation with the animal, helping the user build their social comprehension skills. After the game is completed, the player is quizzed on details from the conversation and game to help improve their attention.

-brainstorming games and designing game logic
-animating visuals and handing off assets to developers
